Global Country of World Peace celebrates new year

On 31 December 2009, leaders and members of the Global Country of World Peace around the world celebrated the new year with a live global broadcast from the International Capital of the Global Country of World Peace in MERU, Holland.

In the presence of Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam, First Ruler of the Global Country of World Peace, ceremonies inaugurated the traditional week of silence at the beginning of January, observed for many years by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Founder of the Global Country of World Peace.

On 12 December 2007, before beginning the days of Silence at the beginning of January 2008, Maharishi addressed the World Congress of Rajas of the Global Country in MERU. During his address, Maharishi said,

'With this humble, very humble, very humble feelings of world consciousness offering at the feet of Guru Dev, we are entering in the field of absolute eternal admiration to the eternal silence that rules the universe. We are entering into the domain of the eternal administrator of the universe: the will of God, so that we nourish our being with that eternal silent administrative power of Veda to display its blissful, eternally-elevating administrator of absolute silence, so that the ocean of silence rules over every activity of the individual and every nation in our world to display that master management, master administration of total Natural Law, the Constitution of the Universe, the Veda, for all coming time.'

Maharishi went on to say,
'. . . after three days of silence we will open the door of eternal silence and begin to radiate that authority, that dignity, that grandeur, that fulfilment of administration through silence'.
 

Bring the light of Total Knowledge
 to everyone, everywhere

Dr Bevan Morris,

On 31 December 2009, Dr Bevan Morris, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace, greeted all those practising the Transcendental Meditation and Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme around the world. He encouraged them in their group practice, and in making use of all the knowledge and technologies of consciousness Maharishi had given them for their own enlightenment, and for creating invincible nations and a peaceful world.

Dr Morris wished everyone a very blissful new year, full of good health, prosperity, and success in every endeavour to bring invincibility to every nation, to create permanent world peace, and to fulfil the 'clear vision of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi that Heaven is indeed descending upon Earth at this time'.

In the whole history of the world, in the time in which we are now living, Dr Morris explained, Maharishi was the motivating force for bringing about the creation of Heaven on Earth through his teaching, and he saw that this was really happening.

'It's a bright, glorious future for the whole world,' Dr Morris said, 'and it is our great responsibility, but also great joy and privilege, to be ushering in this glorious new time for our dear human family.'

Dr Morris expressed his hope that all those practising Transcendental Meditation and the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi programme 'will take stock of all that they are doing, in terms of being powerful from the level of their own ''soft thought''—thought that is spontaneously processed from their own transcendental, self-referral bliss consciousness'. This, Dr Morris said, happens by 'our attending to our own experience—by minding that part of our life—and most of all to look into our group practice of the Transcendental Meditation Programme and every aspect of daily life, as Maharishi had given us the chance to do through the techniques he brought from Guru Dev'.*

Dr Morris encouraged everyone to make sure that 'every aspect of our life is maximizing the advantages that we have from Maharishi, in designing a perfectly evolutionary life to develop highest possible experiences**—and therefore the most powerful, successful action, based in our establishment in our own Self'.

He also encouraged everyone to do 'service'—to do the work that is 'in the direction of offering to every other person on earth what we have received'. He explained the great importance and value of such service—'most especially by creating groups of Yogic Flyers in schools; and building the Maharishi Tower of Invincibility in every nation; with a Maharishi Jyotishi** [expert in Maharishi Jyotish, Vedic Astrology] to predict the future of the nation; and then assign the task to the Maharishi Vedic Pandits of averting any danger that might come to the nation, through Maharishi Yagya performances for national life.'

Dr Morris emphasized 'service in that aspect particularly—but in every way to give to the population; to shine the light of what we know on the whole population—that really is a great gift, a great service'.

We are so fortunate to have been given the chance by Maharishi to do that, Dr Morris commented—that is a life well spent: 'Deep focus on our group practice of the Transcendental Meditation and Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, and then in the other hours focussing on the work to bring the light of Total Knowledge to everyone, everywhere in our society.'

Achieving Maharishi's 'blueprint'
for the world to live Heaven on Earth,
from the field of infinite silence

Continuing his address, broadcast globally via Internet on the Maharishi Channel, Dr Morris praised the great accomplishments of leaders of Maharishi's organizations around the world, and spoke about the 'blueprint' of Maharishi's design for the world to live the full value of Heaven on Earth.

First, Dr Morris commented on Maharishi's Maharishi Global Family Chat, a daily news programme webcast on the Maharishi Channel, Channel 3, that reports on the achievements and expansion of Maharishi's programmes around the world. 'Maharishi's Global Family Chat is a treasure for us,' Dr Morris said, 'so that we know what is being done around the world, otherwise we'd miss so much of the incredible things that are happening.'

Highlights of the news presented on the Global Chat are now also being sent out in written form, Dr Morris said (in a daily email news summary, as well as articles in Global Good News Success Stories), 'so everyone has an idea of the accumulated achievements all over the world. It's very impressive. I always feel very inspired, and everyone I speak to is so inspired to hear all the good news of everyone's achievements.'

Dr Morris described the 'blueprint', the grand design Maharishi made for what he wanted to accomplish in the world. For example, in India the full blueprint Maharishi laid out involves establishing 322,000 Yogic Flying Vedic Pandits at the Brahmasthan [auspicious centre area of the country], and in the north, south, east, and west of the country. Maharishi's plan for India also calls for groups of Vedic Pandits at 12 Jyotir Lingas, 48 Brahmanand Saraswati Nagars,* and other highly revered places in the eternal Vedic Tradition; and for the training of youngsters in villages as Vedic Pandits. Dr Morris said that sometimes leaders of the Global Country of World Peace around the world may feel unfulfilled that all these goals are 'a very long way' from being achieved.

'But what Maharishi did for us . . . ,' he continued, 'is that he made clear for us and for every generation, what will be ideal to be achieved—the blueprint for the world to live in the most high Heaven on Earth—Sat-Yuga, the Golden Age—and we should rejoice in what we have accomplished.'

Dr Morris cited the great accomplishments around the world of Raja Jose Luis Alvarez, Raja (Administrator) of Invincible Latin America for the Global Country of World Peace; Raja John Hagelin in the United States; Raja Harris Kaplan, Raja of Invincible India, and Dr Girish Varma, in India; as well as leaders in many countries.

'Everywhere you look, the attention of the Rajas and Raj Rajeshwaris, Ministers, and National Directors of the Global Country has produced so many impressive and positive things that never happened before in the history of all the years' of Maharishi's worldwide organizations, Dr Morris said.

This is what we should rejoice in as the year comes to an end, he said—and 'then take all the other things we haven't yet accomplished as Maharishi's gift to us, as the blueprint of what we will accomplish by continued focus from within our own silence, from within Atma [the Self]. That will all come to pass if we continue and persist, just as this year so many outstanding things have happened.

'With our constant attention and the power of our action from within the infinite field of silence, within Atma, we will be able to achieve everything, everything, everything,' Dr Morris said. 'We will unfold it, and enjoy, and feel pride that we can offer this every year to Guru Dev* with Maharishi—we can offer these achievements.'

Dr Morris said that we are so fortunate, both personally and in our teaching role, that we have the most simple, powerful technique for evolution to enlightenment that could ever exist in the world, and we have all the incredible knowledge that Maharishi was pouring out—'even right through 2007, he was bringing us even to the level of ten Brahm [Totality] at the end of his teaching to us; he constantly kept pouring out to us.

'We have everything,' Dr Morris continued. 'No one in the world ever had as much as Maharishi gave us—in terms of the total techniques: Transcendental Meditation and the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, Yogic Flying and Advanced Techniques'—never so much has been given in terms of Maharishi's vision of the total Constitution of the Universe, and the authentication of the experiences of higher states of consciousness that comes from the Veda and Vedic Literature, Dr Morris said.

the structure of leadership worldwide

In the conclusion of his 31 December 2009 address to all those practising Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation Programme around the world, Dr Bevan Morris, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace, praised the leadership of Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam, First Sovereign Ruler of the Global Country, and explained the overall structure of administration that Maharishi designed for his worldwide organizations.

Maharishi gave a legacy of administration, Dr Morris explained, which is based in the Vedic Tradition of India and in Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam*; in the Rajas** of the Maharishi Purusha Programme, those of the three largest countries—India, China, and the United States, and all the Rajas; in the Raj Rajeshwaris,*** Administrators of the Global Mother Divine Organization; and in all the Ministers of the Global Country attending to the twelve main areas of life, including health, education, business, agriculture, etc.

Maharishi laid out a legacy built around the groups of Yogic Flyers in every country, Dr Morris said, 'in the sense that they would enliven the infinite organizing power of Natural Law for the national life, so everything would progress automatically' in the life of the nation.

Maharishi laid out this legacy and he took care to train excellent leaders. 'Where we see the attention of the Rajas and Raj Rajeshwaris on their nations, such powerful things are happening,' Dr Morris said. There are so many nations where Maharishi's programmes and knowledge had never been given, and now they are being offered, 'and groups are being built up and established. The attention of these enlightened leaders, the enlightened administrators that Maharishi trained, is very powerful in the world.'

Dr Morris praised the work of all the Ministers and National Directors of the Global Country of World Peace in every nation, and all the Teachers of Transcendental Meditation around the world. 'Everyone is doing extremely well to produce amazing results,' he said.

Dr Morris said that Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam's guidance from a profound level of vigilance in upholding the teaching and the administrative structure of Maharishi's global administration 'has been a revelation'.

'It's been so good, so great, all that he has done,' Dr Morris said. It is very clear 'why Maharishi chose him for that highest position, because he is both the embodiment, the total champion of Total Knowledge in his scientific discovery—he is the greatest champion of the total Vedic wisdom—and at the same time such a melting heart, and such vigilance to make sure that what Maharishi set in the world will go on and on, generation after generation.'

Dr Morris said that we are all so fortunate to be participating in this structure that is bringing the reality of Heaven descending on Earth. 'It is amazing that in the midst of this age of so much difficulty, that this is our job, our duty, and our joy.

'We are so fortunate. Let's take stock of that good fortune, and make sure we maximize in every way our good fortune in this year to come—through following all Maharishi's directions to us precisely and vigilantly, and being so powerful from within the Self, to do anything and do all the things that we want to do, that Maharishi laid out to do. This will be our joy.'

Dr Morris wished everyone a beautiful week of Silence (traditionally observed by Maharishi at the beginning of each new year) to 'recharge' and go deep in their practice of the Transcendental Meditation and Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme. 'Then on 12 January, the Third Year of Invincibility —Global Raam Raj (Heaven on Earth) will be inaugurated globally, and it will be a grand new year of achievement, even more than 2009.

'All the achievements will blossom and Heaven will truly descend on this earth,' he concluded.

Lebanon sets goal to achieve invincibility in 2012
through Maharishi's programmes

(24 December 2009) Lebanon moves closer to invincibility with renewed efforts among leaders of the Global Country of World Peace, who have initiated projects in Consciousness-Based Education and are offering multiple courses in the programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.

Dr Omar Hamza, National Director of the Global Country of World Peace for Lebanon, has set the goal for Lebanon to achieve invincibility in the year 2012. He and other leaders aim to achieve this mainly by establishing a group of 200 student Yogic Flyers, the number needed to create national invincibility, at a new Consciousness-Based Education institution.

A secondary school near Beirut, the nation's capital, has begun to introduce the Transcendental Meditation Programme. The school director is planning to implement a research programme to monitor the benefits of the technique for students. In addition, a leading education magazine is including a five-page article on Consciousness-Based Education in its next issue. The magazine will be distributed to thousands, including leading educators throughout the country.

These and other new initiatives were reported recently by Raja Lucien Mansour, Raja of Invincible Lebanon, on Maharishi Global Family Chat.

Rising invincibility is also being supported by many Lebanese taking advantage of recent course offerings in Maharishi's programmes, Raja Lucien said. Seventeen people completed the recent online Vastu Coordinator Course, offered internationally to train cooordinators of Fortune-Creating Maharishi Vedic Architecture in every country.

Another international course, on measuring and demonstrating EEG brainwave coherence produced during Transcendental Meditation, included seven Lebanese participants. Three Residence Courses for Transcendental Meditation practitioners have also been held, creating more coherence in national consciousness, the basis of invincibility for any nation.

A Lebanese participant also enrolled in the recent international VedAroma Essential Oils training programme. Raja Lucien added that brochures for VedAroma essential oils are beginning to be translated into Arabic.

Transcendental Meditation enlivens body's own
healing mechanisms to reduce heart disease:
Researchers comment on new study
 

(18 December 2009) Results of a new study support researchers' view that the Transcendental Meditation Programme enlivens the body's own healing mechanisms to help reduce heart disease and support good health. A nine-year study recently presented at the American Heart Association annual meeting showed a 47% reduction in heart attacks, strokes, and mortality through the practice of Transcendental Meditation.

Lead author Robert Schneider, MD, FACC, explained that Transcendental Meditation 'is like a whole new category of medical technology—like a whole new category drug that has been newly discovered'.

'In this case, we're utilizing the body's own internal pharmacy,' he continued. Practitioners may benefit from 'substances which we believe are released by the nervous system—likely neurotransmitter effects, likely stress hormone effects, [and] other effects on the nervous system which have very profound effects on the heart, and the vascular system.

'There's a well-known neuro-cardiac connection or heart-brain connection with the body's own biochemicals, receptors, and neurotransmitters,' Dr Schneider explained. 'So this, we believe, modulates the body's internal pharmacy, which is an expression of the body's own healing mechanisms.'

'In the words of Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam, the body's own inner intelligence is enlivened by the regular experience of Transcendental Consciousness, and this has all these remarkable health effects,' Dr Schneider said.
