Global assembly enjoys historic address of
Maharishi Mahesh Yogi from 11 January 2008

During the global celebration of the Global Country of
World Peace on Tuesday, 12 January 2010, inaugurating Maharishi's Third
Year of Invincibility - Global Raam Raj, the Assembly of leaders at the
International Capital of the Global Country in MERU, Holland, honoured
the historic achievements of His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Founder
of the Global Country of World Peace.
Following special Vedic recitations by Maharishi Vedic
Pandits at the Brahmasthan (geographical centre) of India and in MERU,
the first session of the day featured a video replay of the beautiful,
historic address given by Maharishi two years ago, on 11 January 2008.
During this address, Maharishi reflected on the past, present, and
future of his global organization and the source of all achievements.
On that day Maharishi had founded the Brahmanand
Saraswati Trust, with the purpose of securing invincibility for the
whole human race throughout time, by perpetually supporting Maharishi's
groups of Vedic Pandits at the Global Capital of World Peace at the
Brahmasthan of India, in the 48 Brahmananda Saraswati Nagars in India,
and in all Maharishi Towers of Invincibility around the world.

Raja John Hagelin, Raja of Invincible America,
recounted that, on the evening of 11 January 2008, Maharishi had been
meeting with all the Rajas and Ministers of the Global Country of World
Peace gathered in MERU, Holland, who began to express their profound
appreciation for all of Maharishi's achievements, and also for
everything that Maharishi had done for them individually and for the
world. Everyone expressed their great honour to be the members of the
Global Council of the Brahmanand Saraswati Trust, and their deep
gratitude for Maharishi's perfect service to Guru Dev* for more than
fifty years in the world.
Maharishi reflected on this appreciation
given to him
by all the Rajas and Ministers:
'When I am listening to all this, my mind goes to,
''from where all this was happening?'' I did not know from where all
this was happening. It was happening is all that I know. It was the
destiny of the world. It was the fortune of the world that was being
shaped, being designed. By whom, I did not know. . . .
'The depth of Vedic Wisdom for life is so enormous
that it is completely self-sufficient in its articulating everything.
One would never know from where one is acting. When I hear all these
sentiments, the only thing I could say, I started to find out from where
I was doing. I was not doing—it was happening. From place to place I was
moving around. It was happening, but it was not I that was instrumental
to it in any way. So I find no source of it. This is because
unfathomable is the field of Natural Law; unfathomable is the field of
Natural Law. And it happens, and it happens, and it works out the
destiny of everyone. You go to find this logic, that logic, that logic,
that logic—you are not able to pinpoint from where it is happening, and
ultimately you are left to something that you can only say, Jai Guru
Dev. It's from there that it is happening. . . .
'Nothing can be pinpointed. When I was hearing all the
glory, all the efforts, all my own appreciation, I was knowing what they
are doing. They are searching for something that they are not able to
isolate, very great glory of unbounded energy and intelligence. The
source is everywhere. That is Vedic Civilization. What is at the basis
of this? Total Knowledge, Jyotish—Jyotish Vidya. Jyotish, Jyotish,
Jyotish is that source of unbounded energy, all-knowingness. That is
Jyotish. There one is saint; there one is saint. There is the secret of
all secrets. We can't pinpoint—we can't pinpoint our stand. We can't
pinpoint our status. We can't pinpoint our activity, from where all this
is happening. It's happening of course, but from where it is
happening?—completely transcendental in nature.'
Maharishi spoke about Raja Hagelin:
'Invincible Raja of America, when I am saying this I
am reminded of you, because in you I have seen that Invincibility that
cannot be isolated anywhere. You will be able to design the human race
functioning on that level of Invincibility, motivated by Natural Law,
total Natural Law. . . .
'I am closing my performance, closing my days of life,
but when I hear all these beautiful realities of all successes on the
basis of which we have built up Invincibility to be a perpetual phase to
be lived in life, then I am expressing it is not ''I''. If it's ''I'',
it's the big ''I'', big ''I''.
'I would like to enjoy that big ''I'' from invincible
ruler of America. It's such a joy to give on this farewell time that I
am given to float on this ocean of knowledge. Invincible Raja of
America, please let the world know what I am speaking about, because
unfathomable is the area in which I am floating now, and for all future
generations. . . .
'It's such a joy to say that when we are seeing the
administration of the universe is becoming a living reality for all the
future generations, then we wanted to point out from where this is
happening. This is happening from everywhere, everywhere, everywhere,
really everywhere. It's not one individual doing; it's the big 'I' that
is doing. I have a deep sense of awakening when I am searching from
where all this was happening. Why the world should be grateful for
laying the foundation for eternal Invincibility in life? The answer to
the 'why' is because life is like that. No reason. No reason. Because
the nature of life is like that. And the nature of the Guide we got,
Guru Dev.** We got that 'flood of wisdom' we call it, or whatever we
call it. We got that wide-open sunshine from where this is going to be
operated for all future times. . . .'

Saraswati Trust' for more of Maharishi's beautiful comments and
highlights of this historic occasion of 11 January 2008; and Maharishi's
Achievements 1957-2008.
Raja Hagelin also gave a beautiful talk following the
replay, commenting eloquently on Maharishi's supreme gift to the world
as he had described in this address, the 'secret' of life in perfection.
In the second session of the 12 January 2010
celebration, Dr Bevan Morris, Prime Minister of the Global Country of
World Peace, summarizing Maharishi's 11 January 2008 address, commented
that, 'when reflecting on the most amazing accomplishments that have
ever been seen or done by anyone in the history of the world, Maharishi
found it hard to find what he had done at all, during all those years.'
Dr Morris went on to say, 'We are remembering so many glorious days,
January 12th celebrations, throughout the years—when Maharishi, coming
out of silence,* bursting with cosmic creativity, would design the new
year and all its steps of achievement—that over the course of fifty
years, structured a completely bright future for the whole human race,
in a golden age for humanity.'

Address of Maharaja
Adhiraj Rajaraam
on 12 January 2010:
Raising life to its highest
possible level
of achievement and fulfilment
.

(12 January 2010) In his address to the global celebration of 12 January
2010, inaugurating Maharishi's Third Year of Invincibility - Global Raam
Raj, Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam, First Sovereign Ruler of the Global
Country of World Peace, offered all the achievements and plans of
Maharishi's worldwide organizations for the future, and the resolve to
see Heaven established on Earth.
Maharaja gave as the theme of this year a quote from Maharishi, in which
Maharishi says we are very fortunate to be enjoying the great gift of
the Tradition of the Vedic Masters.
'What the world needs is a strong Vedic community,' Maharaja said,
quoting Maharishi. 'What the world needs is a strong Vedic India. What
the world needs to be is a strong Vedic world. Vedic world means a world
of knowledge, and a world of knowledge means a world of no mistakes, a
world of no failures. It is possible. It is possible to create, and we
are on that.'

Maharishi took that knowledge—like the great sages
of the Vedic Tradition, Vyasa and Shankara—and organized it as a total
knowledge, a total science of life. Maharishi saw it, and working with
great scientists such as Dr John Hagelin,*** identified the Constitution
of the Universe, the mathematical and physical formulas as being a
reflection of Veda, a reflection of Totality.
Maharishi then ensured that Veda is totally available, Maharaja said,
and can be understood from every physical aspect of creation, from every
level of manifestation, and every field of science, including the human
physiology—'where he showed that every cell of our body, every structure
of our physiology is nothing but Veda and Vedic Literature—ensuring to
the human intellect and the human understanding, the connection of the
true divinity of man, the true divinity of creation—the availability of
the holy, of the unbounded, of the infinite, of the limitless, of the
non-changing in the field of transformation and change, in the field of
physical aspects of life—physical activity, and physical structures . .
. .'
Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam said that Maharishi also gave us a system that
allows us to perpetuate his action in the world—to complete the task
that he has already fulfilled—but he has given everyone 'a chance to
participate in the last phases of this task, allowing us to act as
mature, responsible students of his, and at the same time,
representatives of his, teachers of this knowledge, and guides to
others.
'It is in this structure that he has given, which includes everyone who
has been taught by him at every level of society, all the way to the
administration that he has created—the different aspects of his Global
Country of World Peace—we have in that togetherness of that Wholeness,
truly Brahm [Totality].'
Maharaja explained that, in offering these achievements and plans, 'we
humbly offer the unity and strength of our Global Country of World
Peace, of our Movement in all of its aspects. We resolve with
[Maharishi] to continue in our strength together; in our respect to each
other; in our focus on achieving the goal in a steadfast, joyful,
blissful, loving way. . . .' |
 |
Maharaja pointed out that this is the 50th
anniversary celebration of the worldwide organization teaching
Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation Programme. '[2009] was our 50th
year of the Age of Enlightenment—50 years of Maharishi in the world. And
this is our inspiration today . . . . to resolve to raise life to its
highest possible level of achievement and fulfilment and perfection—life
on earth as life in Heaven.'
Maharishi's achievements are so profound from so many angles, Maharaja
said, that they span the entire field of life and living. 'Maharishi
brought the light to the darkest corners, and also brought the light to
those who are already highly enlightened.'
Maharishi's supreme understanding of Veda, of knowledge, of silence and
dynamism, and his supreme understanding of the world and the times he
was living in. . . have allowed the total knowledge of Natural Law to
blossom in a most unprecedented way, Maharaja said. 'The great
luminaries, gurus, and teachers of the Vedic Tradition have expounded
Total Knowledge, each according to his time, and the need of his time,
in its greatest excellence. So in that sense there is no point to
compare.'
But in our age and time we can say without a question or a doubt that
Maharishi brought out the most profound and most complete exposition,
understanding, and application of Veda and Vedic Knowledge in life,
Maharaja continued. Maharishi brought out the theoretical understanding
of Natural Law and how it moves in physics and chemistry, biology and
physiology—and how the physiology is an expression of Natural Law as
available in Veda and Vedic Literature.
Maharishi showed how this knowledge can be applied to the child, to the
young man and woman, to the grown-up, to the old; to the genius and the
less gifted; to even the criminal, as well as the highest achiever and
greatest well-wisher of humanity. 'Maharishi has given that knowledge
that can lift everyone from every corner, from every angle, from every
perception, to the truth of life—to the life of living in light, to the
life of living in Cosmic Consciousness, in full God realization, and the
achievement of Unity Consciousness.'**
Maharaja explained that the Veda and Vedic Literature—'the blueprint of
creation, the Constitution of the Universe, Nitya [eternal] Apaurusheya
[uncreated], ever immortal'—was as if hidden by the dust of time, and
misinterpreted as literature that even has inherent contradictions
between its different aspects, and is fragmented in its totality.

Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam: Offering Maharishi's
knowledge to everyone, for the perfection that is their birthright

Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam, First Sovereign Ruler of the Global Country
of World Peace, continued his address to the global celebration of 12
January 2010. Speaking in MERU, Holland, Maharaja praised the leaders of
his global administration, and also spoke about the structure for
presenting Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's knowledge and programmes to the
world, in the way Maharishi had wanted them to be available to everyone.
In Part I of his address, Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam expressed the
resolve to raise life to its highest possible level of achievement,
fulfilment, and perfection. He reminded everyone that Maharishi brought
out the most profound and most complete exposition of Vedic knowledge,
so that every man, woman, and child has the knowledge for living higher
states of consciousness.* Maharaja offered the unity and strength of the
Global Country of World Peace with the resolve 'to continue our focus on
achieving this goal in a steadfast, joyful, blissful, and loving way'.
Maharaja continued, describing the structure and activities of leaders
and groups who are responsible for achieving Maharishi's goal of
creating enlightenment for every individual and invincibility for every
nation. 'Our administration is simple and complex. We have to deal with
the entire complexity of our world. We have, as [Maharishi] guided us,
to be able to offer [his] knowledge to the child, to the ignorant, at
the same time as to the wise, and to the genius . . . to bring to every
individual, to every corner of society this level of perfection that
[he] wanted to see, which is the birthright of everyone.'
We have to continue to produce books and different aspects of knowledge,
Maharaja said—for example, in Maharishi Ayur-Veda health care, Maharishi
Sthapatya Veda (Vedic architecture), and Maharishi Jyotish and Yagya
(Vedic astrology)—and we need courses 'properly attuned to the needs of
society, that would allow everyone to be able to understand and grow,
and pass from one stage of understanding to the highest stage of
enlightenment'.

Maharaja praised the leadership of the Rajas and Raj Rajeshwaris for
their achievements, and for their contributions to the different fields
of knowledge and organization, and the Ministers of all the ministries
of the Global Country of World Peace—health, education, agriculture,
architecture, etc. 'I wanted to honour and thank all leaders of our
world in their beautiful and profound contribution to the structures
that Maharishi created for us,' he said.
Maharaja also lauded the leadership of the Global Country in India who
are creating the Brahmananda Saraswati Nagars and establishing the large
group of Maharishi Vedic Pandits at the Brahmasthan (geographical
centre) of the nation. He commended 'all those devoted to ensuring that
India is receiving its fullness of strength and support from the whole
world, so that it supplies us with the gifts of Maharishi's Vedic
Tradition, our Vedic Tradition—the Vedic Tradition that we want to
establish in the whole world.'
In all these great achievements, Maharaja said, 'when I look at every
country . . . we see a trend which is an exponential growth in every
field of undertaking. And now we want to bring this to the highest
level, and that would be our goal for this coming year.'
Maharaja acknowledged 'so many great luminaries of knowledge,
scientists, and great knowers of reality' who would be participating in
the development of all the knowledge and programmes, 'where with clarity
of vision, clarity of purpose, and clarity of organization, we can
really proceed in a very stable, safe, and fastest possible way'.
Maharaja honoured the Prime Minister of the Global Country of World
Peace, 'whose constancy in the knowledge, incredible organizing power,
powerful thinking, and strong leadership has been such a joy to
everyone, and such a strength to all our family.'
Maharaja commented that 'the strength of our family is greatest in its
upholders of the basis of all strength, the basis of all dynamism'. This
is our great Maharishi Purusha Programme, he said, including Purusha
Rajas and groups of Purusha everywhere, 'with their attention on the
Self. Great souls. . . . They shine; the glow of the divine is on their
faces; their hearts are full of the truth of life, of the light of life,
of the wisdom of life, and of the devotion and dedication to just that
silent field of infinite, absolute, pure Being. They really are our
great, great support, and sustenance and strength—as well as are the
Mother Divine Programme—both engaged in some levels of activity and
organization, . . . [and] of the very fine levels of our truly motherly,
profound, important, and vital aspect of our activity. So well trained,
so well inspired, great intellects, great hearts, that Maharishi has
created.'
Finally, Maharaja said that he had wanted to go through this review for
his personal fulfilment; and that the reality of total Natural Law,
Brahm, in Maharishi is truly present all together in the leadership of
the Global Country of World Peace. 'Just by reviewing the strength that
we have, the unity that we have, the power that we have, the
intelligence, and the ability to resolve any situation . . . or [remove]
any potential obstacles in the future'—Maharaja said, addressing
Maharishi, 'Just as you did by yourself, now we can do it, because
together we are you. Jai Guru Dev.'
