Global Country of World Peace ready with programs

• Peace-creating groups—Progress towards establishing large peace-creating groups of 8,000 experts in Maharishi’s Vedic technologies of consciousness, including Transcendental Meditation and Yogic Flying, in the United States, South America, Western Europe, and Russia, with a larger group of 40,000 Vedic experts in India. In a addition, 3,000 Peace Palaces are being established in the world’s largest 3,000 cities—each Peace Palace with a group of 100 to 200 experts. These groups will enliven the deepest level of Nature’s functioning—the Unified Field of Natural Law—and create indomitable coherence in the whole world consciousness, according to His Excellency Dr. John Hagelin, world-renowned physicist and Minister of Science and Technology of the Global Country of World Peace. • Raising the Flag of World Peace—Raising the Flag of World Peace at the newly established International Capital of the Global Country of World Peace and the newly founded Global Central Bank in Maharishi Vedic City, Iowa, USA, as well as at the Capital of the Global Country of World Peace in Meru, Holland. The Flag of World Peace was also raised in more than 100 other Capitals of the Global Country of World Peace in 16 time zones around the world. • Maharishi Vedic City—The success of The Honorable Dr. Robert Wynne, Mayor of Maharishi Vedic City, Iowa, USA, in creating a model of ideal administration. Mayor Wynne has adopted all of Maharishi’s prevention-oriented programs to promote ideal administration. He has also pledged to create a group of 8,000 Yogic Flyers to transform America into a center of coherence and harmony for the world. His Majesty Raja Nader Raam’s offer to governmentsMaharishi described these achievements as signs of “a new turn in the history of the human race”—and as the fruit of teaching Transcendental Meditation in the world for nearly 50 years. Maharishi then announced that His Majesty Raja Nader Raam, First Ruler of the Global Country of World Peace, is now offering every government the complete knowledge of Administration through Natural Law—practical, proven programs to create ideal administration. “We say ‘ideal administration through ideal education’—education that develops the total potential of brain functioning and upholds cosmic creativity,” Maharishi said. “This is the birthright of every human being of every religion, culture and nationality. It is no longer necessary for anyone to suffer in life.” Maharishi introduced His Majesty Raja Raam as “the greatest scientist of the world, who has established the supremacy of consciousness over physiology. He has discovered that every physiological expression in the universe is the expression of the underlying field of consciousness.” His Majesty Raja Raam’s message of life in accord with Total Natural Law—the Will of God—will soon be broadcast in 16 major languages around the world on the Raja Raam Channel. Maharishi urges university presidents
Students will comprehend the mechanics of creating world peace— "Current education is the cause of violence" (October 20, 2002) Students will use more of their brain potential, excel academically, and enjoy a less stressful, more satisfying personal life. But more than that, crime and violence will fall in the surrounding communities, and the nation and the world will be more harmonious. This is the vision of possibilities offered by His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, founder of the Transcendental Meditation program and the Global Country of World Peace. Maharishi is calling on university and college presidents to create a Faculty of World Peace and provide their students with the knowledge and technologies to create peace in their own lives and throughout the world. Maharishi’s offer is based on his success teaching Transcendental Meditation for nearly 50 years in schools, colleges, and universities around the world, and on hundreds of published: scientific studies documenting the benefits of the practice.Maharishi is proposing that students take one lesson a week in the mechanics of creating world peace, and, as part of their academic routine, practice his Vedic technologies of peace, including Transcendental Meditation and Yogic Flying. Total brain functioning "Extensive research shows that this experience of Transcendental Consciousness develops total brain functioning, improves creativity and intelligence, and creates a peaceful, coherent influence in the surrounding society," Dr. Morris said. The beneficial effects of Transcendental Meditation and Yogic Flying for the individual and society have been validated through more than 600 scientific studies conducted at 216 independent universities and research institutes and published in over 100 peer-reviewed scientific journals. Education is the cause of violence Dr. Morris identified the cause of widespread violence in the world in the fragmented approach of education prevailing in every country. "Students only study specific areas of knowledge—physics, mathematics, computer science, business management, etc.—and therefore they enliven only specific areas of their brain. But they never develop their total brain—hence the brain’s incredible potential is never realized. As a result, students behave in ways that violate Natural Law, which then causes stress and tension and illness in their lives—and can even lead to criminal and violent behavior. It is the accumulated stress and tension of individuals all over the world which breaks out as conflict and war," Dr. Morris said. Awakening every student’s cosmic potential In contrast, Dr. Morris said, students who are educated to develop their total brain "enliven the field of peace within—the Unified Field of Natural Law—and awaken to their own cosmic potential. They spontaneously live in harmony with the Laws of Nature, and radiate a powerful, peaceful influence throughout society. Lighthouse of peace Any university or college can become a lighthouse of peace for the community, the nation, and the world by creating a Faculty of Peace, Dr. Morris said. "Then the terrible problems of our world, which are caused by accumulated stress, will disappear as darkness disappears with the onset of light." Targeting 40 poor nationsMaharishi’s plan includes a special global development currency and a Poverty Removal Program for the world’s 40 poorest nations. “We are inviting governments to use the Raam, our global development currency, as a ‘catalyst currency’ to initiate agricultural and other development projects around the world. and, in particular, in 40 poor countries,” says His Excellency Dr. Benjamin Feldman, Minister of Finance of the Global Country of World Peace.
“There are one billion hectares of unused land with agricultural potential in these 40 poor countries,” Dr. Feldman says. “The Raam can be used as start-up capital to establish export-oriented organic farms and to build new houses, roads, schools, and health clinics in these countries. After a few successful crop seasons, and with the export of the produce, the Raam can be exchanged for any other hard currency—and even withdrawn from circulation.” Dr. Feldman says national farmers’ associations are also invited to participate in the initiative. Dr. Feldman says the Raam is now legally circulating in Holland and is being used like the Euro by Dutch residents—and it will soon be circulating throughout the European Union and in all continents. The Raam is also circulating as the currency of Maharishi Vedic City in Iowa, USA, along with the U.S. dollar, and Raam-based bonds are being offered in 35 U.S. states. Global Country of World Peace The Global Country of World Peace was established two years ago by Maharishi as “a country without borders for peace-loving people everywhere.” It provides governments with the knowledge and technologies of Total Natural Law to promote prevention-oriented, problem-free administration. A Global Chamber of Commerce has been established to provide a world market for the organic products. “The sale of Vedic organic food on the international market will bring an immediate infusion of foreign currency into the poorer countries, which will stimulate local economies and lift people out of poverty,” Dr. Feldman says.

3,000 Peace Palaces in 3,000 Cities Dr. Feldman says that central to Maharishi’s program to create world peace is the construction of 3,000 Peace Palaces in the world’s largest 3,000 cities. Each Peace Palace will be the home for a permanent group of 100 to 200 experts in Maharishi’s Vedic technologies of consciousness, including Transcendental Meditation and Yogic Flying. Extensive published research shows that the peace-promoting influence of these groups reduces the acute social stress that fuels conflict and war, and promotes coherence and harmony in the surrounding society. “During their practice, these groups of Yogic Flyers will enliven the deepest level of Nature’s functioning—the Unified Field of Natural Law—which administers the infinite diversity of the universe with perfect order,” Dr. Feldman says. “They will radiate indomitable coherence in the collective consciousness, reducing crime, sickness, and other negative trends, and promoting the health and well-being of everyone in the city.” Founders of the Peace Palace to enjoy profit year after yearDr. Feldman says that profits from the organic farms will be used to fund the construction of the Peace Palaces and maintain the groups of Yogic Flyers. The initial building costs for each Peace Palace will be covered by local “Founders of the Peace Palace”—investors who want to create peace and who also want a return on their investment. “This is a sound financial investment. We have to actually produce the effect of peace in the world—and this will come from groups of Yogic Flyers.
