(January 13, 2003) His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi inaugurated 2003 as “The Year of Ideal Government” during a grand global celebration that was broadcast live via satellite and Internet webcast yesterday. And Maharishi announced as his target for the New Year the establishment in India of several large groups of Vedic Pandits reciting the Vedas to create indomitable harmony throughout the world, ending the long legacy of conflict and problems and creating a new world order of affluence and peace.

“From one place on earth these groups will radiate Higher Intelligence which will disallow any negativity to sprout anywhere in the world and will promote positive, evolutionary trends and tendencies for all mankind,” Maharishi said.

Maharishi’s global inauguration of the new year was held at the Capital of the Global Country of World Peace in Meru, Holland. The celebration came on the third day of a six-day series of conferences, being held from January 10 to 15, to inaugurate His Majesty Raja Raam’s “Master Plan to Create Prevention-Oriented, Problem-Free Administration.”

Global Country of World Peace proclaims readiness to prevent all problems

During the inauguration yesterday His Majesty Raja Raam issued his “Royal Decree Number 12: Invitation to Every Government to Create Prevention-oriented, Problem-free Administration.”

The Royal Decree proclaimed the readiness of the Global Country of World Peace, through its Master Plan, to provide every government with the scientifically validated knowledge and technologies to prevent all problems, and invited governments to contract with the Global Country of World Peace to create a prevention-oriented, problem-free administration. The Decree outlined the World Peace Project, which will involve training, adequately housing, and permanently employing groups of peace-creating experts, and made it clear that the financial obligations of the project can be fulfilled without any financial pressure to the government. His Majesty Raja Raam said he is ready to start as soon any government signs a contract with the Global Country of World Peace.

Groups will be climax of nearly 50 years of Maharishi’s worldwide movement

During his inaugural address, Maharishi said that establishing the groups of Vedic Pandits in India is the climax of nearly 50 years of his worldwide movement to bring enlightenment to every individual and peace to the world through his Vedic technologies of consciousness.

Most effective way to create world peace

Maharishi said that the recitation of the Vedas by Vedic Pandits in India is the most effective way to create permanent world peace because the recitation will enliven the supreme intelligence of Total Natural Law—the Veda—which administers the infinite diversity of the universe with perfect order, and which is eternally humming in every grain of creation. “Vedic recitation by large groups of Vedic Pandits will permeate with evenness and harmony all the innumerable diverse trends and tendencies of the six billion people on earth—and create harmony and coherence in the family of nations.”

Maharishi added that establishing as many groups as possible in India will be the focus of this new year, and will take place under the able guidance of His Majesty Raja Raam and his 40 Cabinet Ministers. “We have great hope that this year will be the year of real achievement for the supreme goal of all mankind—Raam Raj—a new golden age of affluence and peace,” Maharishi said.

Inauguration celebrates tenth anniversary
of His Majesty Raja Raam’s scientific discovery

The inauguration of His Majesty Raja Raam’s Master Plan celebrates the tenth anniversary of his scientific discovery that human physiology is the expression of consciousness. His discovery reveals that every individual has cosmic creative potential, which can be enlivened through the Consciousness-based programs offered to governments by the Global Country of World Peace.

Practical Programs of the Global Country of World Peace

During yesterday’s inauguration, His Majesty Raja Raam’s Cabinet Ministers presented these programs, which are now ready for implementation in all areas of society, to create prevention-oriented, problem-free administration. The programs include Maharishi Vedic Approach to Health to prevent disease and promote perfect health; Consciousness-based education to develop total brain functioning and promote enlightenment; the Global Development Currency of the Global Country of World Peace—the Raam—to alleviate global poverty and promote a balanced world economy; Maharishi’s Invincible Defense Strategy to create coherent national consciousness and prevent the birth of an enemy; Maharishi Vedic Organic Agriculture to produce healthy, abundant food; and Maharishi Vedic Architecture to reconstruct the world in harmony with Natural Law.

Maharishi Universities of World Peace are now being established in every country to  educate future leaders in Maharishi’s Supreme Political Science—the complete scientific knowledge and technologies to engage Higher Intelligence to prevent all problems and create permanent world peace. The universities will also serve as centers of coherence where groups of peace-creating experts will promote coherent national and world consciousness. Several large groups of 8,000 experts are now being established in India, and several more groups of 8,000 experts will be established across the globe. In addition, 3,000 Peace Palaces are being built in the world’s largest 3,000 cities. Each Peace Palace will serve as a Maharishi College of World Peace and the home to a group of 100 to 200 experts.

Maharishi’s knowledge will illumine mankind for thousand of years

“Maharishi has blessed the world with the complete knowledge of Total Natural Law,” His Majesty Raja Raam said.  “The Divine light of Maharishi’s knowledge is eliminating the dark patches of ignorance that shadow the world today, and will illumine mankind for thousands of years to come. We offer Maharishi and the Vedic tradition of India our infinite gratitude for this supreme gift of Heaven on Earth.”

(January 14, 2003) His Majesty Raja Raam, First Ruler of the Global Country of World Peace, offered to heads-of-state the complete scientific knowledge of Total Natural Law to bring fulfillment to the aspiration of wise rulers throughout time for a golden age of affluence and peace. And his Cabinet Ministers presented the practical programs now being offered to governments to create a crime-free, pollution-free, problem-free world.

These historic pronouncements came yesterday during the fourth day of a six-day series of international conferences to inaugurate His Majesty Raja Raam’s “Master Plan to Create Prevention-Oriented, Problem-Free Administration.” The conferences are being held from January 10 to 15 at the Capital of the Global Country of World Peace in Meru, Holland, and are being broadcast live via satellite, Internet webcast, and teleconference call (See page 3 for details.)

The theme of yesterday’s conference, on global economy, was “Creating a crime-free, pollution-free, problem-free world through the Global Development Currency of the Global Country of World Peace—the Raam—and through the nourishing, life-supporting programs of Maharishi Vedic Organic Agriculture and Maharishi Vedic Architecture in harmony with Natural Law.”

Purity of world consciousness is the hallmark of a problem-free world

In his opening address, His Majesty Raja Raam said that purity of world consciousness will be the hallmark of a crime-free, pollution-free, problem-free world. This can now be easily achieved, he said, by engaging the supreme intelligence of Total Natural Law, which administers the infinite diversity of the universe with perfect order. “His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi has bestowed upon the Global Country of World Peace his Vedic technologies of consciousness to enliven Total Natural Law in individual and national life so that everyone’s thinking and behavior will be spontaneously in harmony with the evolutionary power of Total Natural Law— naturally pollution-free, crime-free, problem-free,” he said.

Tenth anniversary of His Majesty Raja Raam’s scientific discovery

The Year of Ideal Government

On January 12, Maharishi inaugurated 2003 as “The Year of Ideal Government,” and called for establishing several large groups in India of 8,000 Vedic Pandits reciting the Vedas to create indomitable harmony and coherence in the world. His Majesty Raja Raam also issued his “Royal Decree Number 12: Invitation to Every Government to Create Prevention-oriented, Problem-free Administration.” The Decree invites every head-of-state to contract with the Global Country of World Peace for a World Peace Project to train, house, and permanently employ groups of peace-creating experts to prevent all problems in the nation. The Decree makes it clear that the financial obligations of the project can be fulfilled without any financial pressure to the government.

Global Development Currency to fund World Peace Project

During the conference on global economy yesterday, His Excellency Dr. Benjamin Feldman, Minister of Finance and Planning of the Global Country of World Peace, outlined the financial plan for the project.

“Any government or private organization can take advantage of His Majesty Raja Raam’s generous offer,” Dr. Feldman said. “The Global Country of World Peace has issued a Global Development Currency—the Raam—to serve as a ‘catalyst currency’ in any country to cover start-up costs for development projects. By allocating some unused land with agricultural potential to the World Peace Project, for example, healthy, food will be grown and marketed through His Majesty Raja Raam’s Global Chamber of Commerce, which connects together 100 countries. From the sale of these crops, the Raam can then be exchanged for hard currency to recover start-up costs and provide annual profits to the government. Income from the agricultural production will provide ongoing support for the World Peace Project.”

Dr. Feldman said that the Raam is currently in circulation on several continents, including in Holland, where it is circulating side-by-side with the Euro, and in the United States, in Maharishi Vedic City in Iowa, where it is circulating side-by-side with the dollar. Farmers’ associations worldwide, including in Paraguay and in countries in Africa, are also requesting to use the Raam as a catalyst currency. In addition, World Peace Bonds backed by the Raam are floating in Europe and the U.S., and is being used to support groups of peace-creating experts and to build 3,000 Peace Palaces in the world’s largest 3,000 cities—which will be home to groups of 100 to 200 experts.

Ideal Agricultural Villages

His Excellency Dr. Eike Hartmann, Minister of Global Reconstruction of the Global Country of World Peace, said that His Majesty Raja Raam’s Master Plan upholds the farmer as the “Father of the Nation” for his precious role in providing nourishment to the whole population. For this reason, His Majesty Raja Raam will provide farmers with the technologies of consciousness to rise to higher states of consciousness, and the ideal living conditions to promote their perfect health, happiness, and success.

“The Global Country of World Peace will build Ideal Agricultural Villages for farmers and their families,” Dr. Hartmann said. “All housing, roads, schools, health clinics, and agricultural lands will be designed and constructed in harmony with Natural Law according to Maharishi Vedic Architecture to promote the lively link between individual life and Cosmic life. All transportation and state-of-the-art communication systems will be solar-powered. There will be no pollution, no dust, no noise. The farmers and their families who live in the village will spontaneously enjoy a crime-free, pollution-free, problem-free life. This is the supreme gift from His Majesty Raja Raam of a prevention-oriented, problem-free administration, which can now be enjoyed by any government that signs a contract with the Global Country of World Peace.”

(January 20, 2003) His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi repeated anew his proclamation to world leaders that a new time of enlightenment is dawning on Earth, and he offered every head-of-state a contract with the Global Country of World Peace to create a prevention-oriented, problem-free administration. Maharishi said that the effects will be produced in any nation within six months of signing the contract.

“We have the scientific knowledge and technologies of consciousness to redress our stress-ridden world, and we want to share the fruit of this knowledge with every government,” Maharishi said during his weekly global news conference on Wednesday. “It doesn’t matter who the ruler is—
a king or a president or a dictator—what matters is that the millions of people who are being ruled are supported by infinite creative intelligence—Total Natural Law—which administers the infinite diversity of the universe with perfect order. We want to bring that same order and harmony, that same evolutionary process, to individual and national life to create a new world of affluence and peace. Everyone now has a choice whether to live in the light—or remain in darkness.”

Master Plan to Create Prevention-Oriented, Problem-Free Administration

Maharishi’s pronouncement to the press came on the final day of a six-day series of international conferences to inaugurate the “Master Plan to Create Prevention-Oriented, Problem-Free Administration” of His Majesty Raja Raam, First Ruler of the Global Country of World Peace. The conferences on health, education, administration, economy, defense, and architecture were held at the Capital of the Global Country of World Peace in Meru, Holland, from January 10 to 15. How Vedic recitation will create global coherence

Maharishi answered questions from the press about his recent announcement to establish in India several groups of 8,000 Vedic Pandits reciting the Vedas to create harmony and coherence throughout the world. During his inauguration of 2003 as the “Year of Ideal Government” on January 12, Maharishi said, “From one place on Earth these groups of Vedic Pandits will radiate Higher Intelligence, which will disallow any negativity to sprout anywhere in the world and will promote positive, evolutionary trends and tendencies for all mankind.”

During the news conference Maharishi explained how Vedic recitations can create a global influence of coherence. “When armies march to battle there is a particular kind of music that excites soldiers and makes them ready to fight. You can say certain words to people and they will fight among themselves—or you say other words and they will calm down.

“Life expresses itself through words. Vedic sounds are the words of consciousness—the reverberations of the Self of everyone. The whole physical universe is the expression of Vedic sounds—Total Natural Law reverberates in these sounds. We want to establish and properly maintain in India several groups of 8,000 Vedic Pandits reciting these Vedic sounds to enliven the evolutionary power of Total Natural Law in every grain of creation to soothe our stress-ridden world and bring order to the disorderly state of world consciousness.”

Invitation to every  government to create

Maharishi also spoke about a recent invitation to every head-of-state from His Majesty Raja Raam, First Ruler of the Global Country of World Peace, to contract with the Global Country of World Peace for a World Peace Project. The project calls for training, adequately housing, and permanently employing peace-creating groups in every country to create prevention-oriented, problem-free administration. The invitation makes it clear that the financial obligations of the World Peace Project can be fulfilled without any financial pressure to the government.

“Every government has to satisfy millions of people with billions of different tendencies,” Maharishi said. “How can a government fulfill its parental role in the nation to motivate all these tendencies in the evolutionary direction? His Majesty Raja Ream is that great scientist and supreme administrator whose scientific research into human physiology revealed that all physical structures in the universe, including the human physiology, are the expressions of Higher Intelligence. He has the knowledge and expertise to enliven Higher Intelligence in individual and national consciousness, so that everyone’s thinking and behavior are spontaneously in harmony with Total Natural Law—so that everyone’s life is lived in enlightenment, free from problems and suffering.”

With every nation segmented by so many different religions, cultures, and political parties, Maharishi said, “Only the scientific knowledge of Total Natural Law will produce the desirable effect, because only this knowledge is universally applicable and useful to all.”

Contract with the Global Country of World Peace

Maharishi concluded the news conference by emphasizing that the Global Country of World Peace will not interfere with the existing administration of any nation. “The government can continue with its man-made laws and constitution. They should simply contract with the Global Country of World Peace to create coherence in their national consciousness—just as the government would contract with a bridge builder to build a bridge. The effectiveness of their administration will be multiplied many times—and the results will be produced within six months of the start of the project.

“The knowledge we are offering to every government is complete in its theory and simple in its practical applications. It is based on the real nature of life, on nearly 50 years experience in all parts of the world, and on hundreds of scientific research studies that verify its effectiveness. It is within our reach to create a prosperous, happy, and peaceful world,” Maharishi said. “His Majesty Raja Raam is ready to begin as soon as any government signs a contract.”

as the key to a stable government

(January 27, 2003) His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi offered all heads-of-state his Vedic approach to administration to bring stability to their governments, and presented his practical formula to create permanent world peace by promoting the perfect health and peace of every individual—thereby ending the bloody legacy of war that has gripped mankind for millennia.

Speaking to the world press during his weekly global news conference last Wednesday, Maharishi also cautioned journalists against hiding behind the façade of objectivity when promoting news of their government’s policies of war and destruction: “If you are promoting destruction, you are promoting sin.” Instead, Maharishi urged them to bring his message of peace to the leaders of their countries. “You cannot simply say that ‘the fire is there.’ You have to get some water to put the fire out,” Maharishi said. “Be brave in promoting the knowledge to create a peaceful, coherent world.”

Every government is groping in darkness

Maharishi told the press that governments today are “groping in darkness”—they are ridden with problems and incapable of satisfying their people. “Every government knows it is not ideal. That is why there is a tradition to change administrations every three or four years. The people feel fed up with the government and the government feels fed up with the people—so they change hands.”

Maharishi said such constant turmoil is not satisfactory. “I want every administration to be stable, to be so successful that the people will not want to change the government. For this to happen, the government has to be prevention oriented—it has to be able to prevent problems for the people.”

Maharishi said this goal is now readily achievable for any government by contracting with the Global Country of World Peace. “Through the complete scientific knowledge of Total Natural Law, which administers the infinite diversity of the universe with perfect order, the Global Country of World Peace can create prevention-oriented, problem-free administration in every country, so every administration is as orderly, as evolutionary, and as stable as the Administration of Natural Law.”

Failure of conventional approaches to permanent peace

In response to a question about the effectiveness of conventional approaches to peace, Maharishi was firm that such approaches offer a false hope, or worse, intensify the problem. Maharishi said: 

Failure of peace treaties: “Take a lesson from world history. How many treaties have been signed and great hopes raised—but wars have continued. Words on paper do not create peace. All these discussions and resolutions are a waste of human effort—a waste of human hope.”

Failure of the military: “Offensive means of defense are a dangerous path that will lead to more killing and destruction: ‘As you sow, so shall you reap.’ No military today can ensure peace against an enemy who does not show his face or against a single missile that can turn society to ashes.”

Failure of protests: “I am not in favor of agitation; I am in favor of creating a harmonious world consciousness. There have been agitations throughout history, but the world has not been peaceful. My message is, ‘Don’t fight the darkness—quietly put on the light and darkness will disappear.”

Maharishi concluded his response by saying that while he speaks to the press in “plain and simple” language, his comments should not be misunderstood to imply that he is opposing anyone. “I know that everyone has their own level of consciousness and that everyone can only understand and act from that level. What I am saying is what I see. Just as there are other viewpoints, I have a viewpoint—and that is what I am expressing in this press conference.”

Global Country of World Peace offers program to create world peace

Maharishi said that the program offered by the Global Country of World Peace to create permanent world peace will be successful because it creates a coherent, harmonious world consciousness and promotes the peace of the individual—the unit of world peace. The program includes establishing in India and throughout the world several large groups of 8,000 peace-creating experts, and building in the world’s largest 3,000 cities 3,000 Peace Palaces.

“The formula to create world peace is through individual peace; individual peace is through individual health; and individual health is through the knowledge of prevention and cure of Vedic medicine. These 3,000 Peace Palaces will offer courses in the total knowledge of Natural Law from both the physical sciences and the Science of Consciousness of the Vedic tradition of ancient India so that the life of every individual and every nation is spontaneously in harmony with Total Natural Law—in perfect health and permanent peace.”

Maharishi added that Peace Palaces will be built according to the design principles of Vedic architecture in harmony with Natural Law “to connect individual life with Cosmic life and thereby promote the health and peace of the whole population.” Maharishi called on “well-wishers” of peace in every city to build the Peace Palaces as soon as possible. “If there is any intelligence left in the world, my advice is to build these Peace Palaces quickly and you will be better off.”

A message beyond the comprehension of governments

Maharishi acknowledged that his message of “national administration in accord with the administration of Total Natural Law” is beyond the comprehension of any individual or government: “Whatever science they learned in their childhood, it is outdated.” Nonetheless, Maharishi said, the world needs the most complete up-to-date knowledge of Natural Law. “Fortunately, the Global Country of World Peace has the knowledge to engage Total Natural Law to create prevention-oriented and problem-free administration in every country. To enjoy this supreme administration, a government only has to sign a contract with the Global Country of World Peace.”
