Maharishi provides every nation
a formula for invincibility

Offers to train leaders to engage total Natural Law
to create coherent national consciousness

Urges governments to align with the Government of the Universe

(August 30, 2003) His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi offered every head of state a practical, proven formula to create true invincibility in their nations: Align your government with the invincible Government of the Universe through the knowledge and technologies of total Natural Law. The result will be an end to all conflict and suffering and the creation of a prevention-oriented, problem-free, ideal administration in your nation.

Maharishi emphasized that there was no time to waste: “Take recourse to my knowledge of total Natural Law—which administers the universe with perfect order—to save yourself, your children, your culture, and your nation.”

Maharishi’s declarations came during his weekly global news conference, which was held on Wednesday, August 27, at the Capital of the Global Country of World Peace in Meru, Holland—and broadcast live via satellite, Internet webcast, and teleconference call.

 Promoting the well-being of every individual and the whole nation

To create sovereign and invincible nations, Maharishi announced that he is establishing a Peace Government in every country. Leaders of society will be trained to engage total Natural Law to work for them—to satisfy the desires and promote the well-being of every individual and the nation as a whole. “Every leader needs this knowledge because every leader wants to provide his followers with the knowledge of how to be free from problems. This natural desire can be fulfilled by enlivening the innermost Self of everyone, which is the center of total Natural Law.”

Maharishi added that his training will produce an immediate effect. “How long does it take to light a lamp? One little light can make years of darkness vanish in an instant. With this knowledge of total Natural Law, problems will disappear overnight and every nation will enjoy invincibility because Natural Law—the light of God—is invincible,” Maharishi said.

Coherent national consciousness is the basis of invincibility

Maharishi explained that coherent national consciousness is the basis of national invincibility—and he cited the Meissner Effect of physics to explain the phenomenon. The Meissner Effect is a universal principle in nature, which states that internally coherent systems possess the ability to repel external disruptive influences, while incoherent systems are easily penetrated by disorder from outside.

To create coherent world consciousness—the basis of invincibility for every nation—Maharishi is establishing 3,000 Peace Palaces in the world’s largest 3,000 cities. Each Peace Palace will be home to a group of 100 to 200 peace-creating experts whose practice of Transcendental Meditation and Yogic Flying will enliven total Natural Law and create coherent collective consciousness. Maharishi is also establishing groups of 8,000 peace-creating experts on every continent and a larger group of 40,000 experts in India.

“After teaching for 50 years throughout the world, we are now equipped with the complete knowledge and scientifically proven technologies to remake our world,” Maharishi said. “We now have the solution to any problem facing any individual or any nation.”

Education should unfold a man’s inner creative potential

In response to a press question, Maharishi identified modern education as the source of all problems. “Education should unfold a man’s inner creative potential,” Maharishi said. “But today’s education is incomplete. It talks about unfolding human intelligence—but fails to do so. Talking about water does not satisfy a thirsty man. In contrast, through proper education—Vedic education—we are going to train everyone to fulfill their desires by awakening total Natural Law within themselves. It’s there, sleeping—and we are going to wake it up.”

Maharishi concluded with a message to the world press. “Our success, of course, depends upon the completeness of our knowledge. But it also depends upon the response from the people—the more people who benefit from this knowledge, the larger the magnitude of influence in the world. We are doing everything possible from our side to bring this knowledge to the people. We invite the world press to examine our offer and, when they are satisfied, to help us spread the news. We invite the press to help us make the world healthy, wealthy, and wise—now in this generation and for all generations to come,” Maharishi said.

Global Country of World Peace plans to
offer new Administrative Training Program

“Responsible people in government will become
 competent to administer millions of people
through the knowledge of total Natural Law”

(August 6, 2003) His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi announced that his Global Country of World Peace is making preparations to offer a new Administrative Training Program that “will make responsible people in every government competent to successfully administer millions of people through the scientific knowledge of total Natural Law.”

Such competency, Maharishi said, will allow leaders to fulfill their natural parental role for the nation and create prevention-oriented, problem-free, ideal administration.

Maharishi’s announcement came during his weekly global news conference, which was held on July 30 at the Capital of the Global Country of World Peace in Meru, Holland—and broadcast live via satellite, Internet webcast, and teleconference call. Maharishi’s next news conferences will be held on August 6 and 7 (see page 3 for details).

Administration should be based on principles—and not individuals

Maharishi said that the announcement comes at a time when every system of administration —democracy, dictatorship, monarchy, etc.—has failed. “We should learn a lesson from history. Administration should not be based on individuals—it should be based on principles. Administration should be based on the underlying unity of life—the Unified Field of Natural Law—the Constitution of the Universe. Administration should be in the hands of those who have understood and experienced the Unified Field—and who are competent to make use of it,” Maharishi said. “Then total Natural Law will rule and not the individual—then unity will flow through the individual to his people.” 

The model of ideal government is the administration of the universe

Maharishi said that the model of ideal government is the administration of the universe. “The most stable and evolutionary government is the administration of the universe, which silently governs year after year, century after century, age after age,” Maharishi said. “That is the competence of administration that we want to bring to every nation so that every individual will be blessed with a rapid pace of evolution.”

Training a new generation of leadership in the world

Dr. John Hagelin, world-renowned quantum physicist and Minister of Science and Technology of the Global Country of World Peace, said that the Administrative Training Program will promote a new generation of leadership. “There is no other leadership training that equips responsible people in government to successfully manage the lives of millions of citizens of diverse trends and tendencies,” said Dr. Hagelin, who is also founder of the U.S. Peace Government. “Maharishi is offering a complete, authentic science of administration that will promote rule by the competent and create prevention-oriented, problem-free administration in every country.”

Do it today because tomorrow never comes

Maharishi emphasized that the knowledge of total Natural Law is simple and not complicated to understand because it is within the Self of everyone. “Everyone will learn how to engage total knowledge within their own Self so that spontaneously all thought, speech, and action will be in the evolutionary direction—always supportive and never harmful to anyone,” Maharishi said. “Administration that is based on total Natural Law—and not manmade laws—will go on generation after generation. The light of God will prevail in the administrative policies of every nation. That is what we want to create.”

Training will be offered via video conference
 at the convenience of government leaders

(August 12, 2003) His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi offered to every head of state and their top cabinet ministers training in the most advanced scientific knowledge of total Natural Law—the Constitution of the Universe—so that they can quickly gain enlightenment and create a prevention-oriented, problem-free administration in their nations.

The training program will be held at the convenience of the head of state and will be conducted via videoconferencing so that the leaders do not have to leave their country. “In a short period of time these leaders will become enlightened custodians of the Constitution of the Universe, which administers the infinite diversity of the universe with perfect order. And then, following their own culture, religion, and beliefs, these leaders will be able to make their people happy, healthy, and fulfilled,” Maharishi said.

Invitation to government in the spirit of friendship

Maharishi said that his invitation to governments is timely and in the spirit of friendship. “No one wants to live in pain, disease, or problems—and no government wants its people to suffer in any way. So it is high time for every head of state to gain this knowledge of the Constitution of the Universe and learn how to bring enlightenment to the whole population, create a disease-free society, and prevent the birth of an enemy for his nation,” Maharishi said.  

All problems of government are due to manmade constitutions

Maharishi explained that all problems of administration are due to “manmade constitutions”— constitutions that were conceived by a small group of people at the founding of the country. “Humanly conceived constitutions will always have human weaknesses and human failings—and that is why governments are not successful, and that is why people continue to suffer.”

Constitution of the Universe is available to everyone

Maharishi said that his training program for heads of state provides the answer. “The Constitution of the Universe is humming in every grain of creation, promoting the orderly evolution of everyone and everything, from point to infinity. And where can it be found? You don’t have to go out anywhere to find it. It is available to everyone in their own Transcendental Consciousness—and that is our strength. Now, we can offer to every head of state this knowledge of gaining perfection in life, which has been authenticated by both modern science and Vedic science of ancient India. Then they will be able to raise their manmade constitutions to the level of the Constitution of the Universe—and then everything in the nation will be orderly and evolutionary for everyone. This will be the ideal system of administration that all governments—now and in the future—will enjoy.”

Money is not the savior—knowledge is the savior

Maharishi said that it is “rigid thinking and childish vanity” which drives current governments to hold on to their obsolete systems of administration instead of adopting this successful new approach. Maharishi also said that money is not the solution to problems. “You can have a billion dollars and still not save yourself from a chronic disease. Money is not the savior, knowledge of total Natural Law is the savior—the mind in higher consciousness is the savior. Governments can take recourse to this knowledge today or leave it for their successors tomorrow. But my advice is to take it today.”

A beautiful time for the world is coming

Maharishi concluded with a call to the global press. “I hope the wise members of the press—the opinion-makers of the nation—will raise their voice in favor of their country, their culture, and their religion and bring our message to their leaders,” Maharishi said. “A beautiful time for the world is coming—and, God willing, life on earth will be as ideal as anyone could ever want it to be.”
