(May 4, 2005) His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi’s program to create coherent world consciousness has produced the first indications of increasing harmony in different areas of the globe, according to John Hagelin, Ph.D., world-renowned quantum physicist, President of the US Peace Government, and Minister of Science and Technology of the Global Country of World Peace. 

Dr. Hagelin said the positive signs are evident in the upsurge of world press reports, which document a general trend towards reduced tensions and improved relations among more and more nations.

Dr. Hagelin delivered the good news during Maharishi’s April 27 global news conference, which was broadcast live to the press on all continents via satellite and Internet webcast from the Capital of the Global Country of World Peace in Meru, Holland.

Evidence of the rise of coherence in world consciousness
will be found in positive news reports from the world press

Maharishi announced one month ago that his program to create coherent world consciousness had begun in India with groups of peace-creating Vedic Pandits practicing Transcendental Meditation and Yogic Flying and performing Vedic Yagyas to enliven Total Natural Law and create coherence in national and world consciousness—the basis of invincibility for every nation. Maharishi said that the influence of coherence from India would spread throughout the world in the same way that the rays of the sun spread light everywhere. Evidence of the rise of coherence, Maharishi explained, would be found in positive news reports from the world press.

To increase the intensity of coherence in world consciousness, Maharishi also announced:

• Groups of Yogic Flyers are now being established in every country to create coherent national consciousness—the basis of ideal, prevention-oriented, problem-free administration.

• A Training Program for government leaders and well-wishers of peace in every nation will soon be held at Maharishi Vedic Universities worldwide. “Patriotic social, religious, political, or economic leaders of every country are invited to take advantage of the knowledge and practical programs to gain the support of Natural Law in the national consciousness of the country—to be trained in the science and art of enlightenment for themselves and invincibility for the nation,” Maharishi said. “Governments are also invited to contract with our University to create invincibility in their country by taking recourse to this new royal, divine knowledge—to quietly and effectively prevent the birth of an enemy inside or outside the nation.” (For more information, please see www.MaharishiUniversity.org.)

• A Training Course will be held for the world’s top scientists to become leaders of the Peace Governments in their countries. “Scientists will gain the knowledge of Total Natural Law to quietly guide every individual to higher states of consciousness and to create coherent collective consciousness for ideal administration in their nations,” Maharishi said. Dr. Hagelin is extending the invitation to scientists in every nation.

Engaging Total Natural Law through the science and technology of thinking

Maharishi said the government leaders and scientists will be trained to engage Total Natural Law to work for them through the science and technology of thinking—through Transcendental Meditation and Yogic Flying, which take the mind to the transcendental, self-referral field of consciousness. “From this fully awake level of consciousness, an individual’s thoughts for himself and the world are instantly fulfilled with the support of the infinite creative intelligence of Total Natural Law—the Will of God—which administers the universe with perfect order,” Maharishi said.

Maharishi acknowledged that the current number of peace-creating experts in the world is small compared to the size of the world’s population. Nevertheless, Maharishi emphasized, it is still large enough to produce a peaceful effect. And as more resources become available to engage more Vedic Pandits and groups of Yogic Flyers, Maharishi said, the whole world will enjoy greater harmony and happiness. “Even one small candle light is enough to increase the light and decrease the darkness in a room,” Maharishi said. “Now, we want to add as many candles as possible so the light is as big and bright as possible—then not even a huge windstorm will be able to put out the light,” Maharishi said.

Maharishi concluded by saying that governments can choose to actively participate in his global peace program—or they can choose to simply watch and enjoy its benefits. But in either case, Maharishi said, the world is going to get better and better. “This is the parental role of the Global Country of World Peace in the family of nations,” Maharishi said. “Whether governments want it or not, we are going to give them the joy of life without problems—we are going to give them Heaven on Earth.”

Maharishi’s bold announcement comes at a critical time when nations can destroy much of the world’s population overnight through nuclear weapons. In contrast, Maharishi said, he is using a power to create peace that is far greater than the power of nuclear weapons—the power of Total Natural Law, which administers the universe with perfect order. “Now is the time to show the world the practical possibilities of creating permanent peace on earth through Total Natural Law,” Maharishi said.

Maharishi’s program to create permanent world peace

Maharishi said his program to create permanent world peace includes:

• Establishing large numbers of peace-creating Vedic Pandits in India who will practice Transcendental Meditation and Yogic Flying and perform Vedic Yagyas to enliven Total Natural Law and create coherence in the collective consciousness of India and the world. Large groups of Yogic Flyers are also being established in other countries to intensify the influence of coherence in world consciousness.
  Maharishi’s program has been under way in India for one month. To monitor the rise of coherence in world consciousness, Maharishi has called on the world press to provide news each week of the rise of positivity in different parts of the globe. • Adopting a few countries to create coherent collective consciousness—the basis of invincibility for the country. Maharishi said that as soon as these first few adopted nations begin to show evidence of rising invincibility, the Global Country of World Peace will adopt more countries until “the entire global civilization is rising to invincibility.”

• Providing training courses in the Total Knowledge of Natural Law for government leaders to become ideal administrators and for scientists to lead Peace Governments in their countries. These new leaders will raise every individual to enlightenment and create ideal administration in the nation.

Maharishi’s training program will bring fulfilment to scientists

Maharishi said scientists are being invited to participate in the training program by Dr. John Hagelin, world renowned quantum physicist, President of the US Peace Government, and Minister of Science and Technology of the Global Country of World Peace.

In response to a press question, Maharishi said he will provide the scientists with the science and technology to experience the Unified Field—Total Natural Law—within their own self-referral awareness. “Scientists will find fulfilment through this training program,” Maharishi said. “And under Dr. Hagelin’s leadership, the scientists will use their knowledge of Total Natural Law to bring fulfilment to the historic efforts started 50 years ago by Einstein and other great scientists to stop the use of all destructive weapons—and to create permanent world peace.”

There are enough peace-creating experts to produce the effect

Maharishi said that the current number of peace-creating experts is small compared to the population of the whole world—but it is still enough to produce an effect. “We are increasing our influence by small amounts—just as the rivers start to rise up drop by drop during the rainy season,” said Maharishi, who then added: “But more peace-creating experts are needed to create permanent world peace—just as more drops of rain are needed for every river to rise up in floods.”

Authenticity of Maharishi’s program is based on the Vedic Literature

Maharishi concluded by explaining that the authenticity of his program is based on the timeless Vedic Literature—Total Knowledge of Natural Law—which provides complete, detailed knowledge of how the infinite diversity of the universe is governed with perfect order. “With the blessings of the tradition of Vedic masters, we have the knowledge and technologies to awaken cosmic creative intelligence—divine intelligence—within the self-referral awareness of every individual,” said Maharishi, who described such individuals as “lighted lamps.” “Just a few thousand people here and there amidst the ignorant mass of humanity will enlighten the world—just as a few lamps along the highway keep thousands of miles of road properly lighted.”

Maharishi then emphasized: “We have spoken about this for 50 years—now is the time to produce the effect.”

The first phase of Maharishi’s peace program has dramatically increased positive trends in different areas of the world after just one month, according to world press reports

(May 17, 2005) His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi announced this week that his Global Country of World Peace will adopt three or four nations and raise each country to invincibility through the science and technology of Total Natural Law. For this, Maharishi said, large groups of Yogic Flyers will quickly be established in each adopted country to create coherent collective consciousness—the basis of invincibility for the nation.

Maharishi’s new initiative is the second phase of his program to create permanent world peace. The first phase was launched last month. Large numbers of peace-creating Vedic Pandits in India have begun creating a holistic rise of coherence in world consciousness—and as a result, are producing a significant increase in positive trends in different parts of the globe.

The remarkable success of the first phase of Maharishi’s global peace program has been documented during the past month by world press reports that show, for example, historically unprecedented reductions in tensions and improved relations between formerly hostile nations, such as India and Pakistan, and China and Taiwan  (see www.globalgoodnews.com). “We see these reports of warring nations coming together to talk peacefully as the sign of rising positivity in world consciousness,” Maharishi said.

Maharishi’s announcements came during his May 11 global news conference, which was broadcast live to the press on all continents via satellite and Internet webcast from the Capital of the Global Country of World Peace in Meru, Holland.

 Second phase of Maharishi’s global peace program to begin soon

Maharishi said the second phase of his global peace program will begin soon. Maharishi said he will identify the adopted countries during an upcoming global news conference, and added that these adopted countries will not be small nations—they will have substantial populations. “The world press will then be able to report the good news of rising positivity in these individual countries—as well as continue to report on the overall good news coming from around the globe as the Vedic Pandits in India create a holistic influence of coherence in world consciousness,” Maharishi said.

Maharishi withdraws his Transcendental Meditation Movement from England—
the destroyer of the world

Maharishi issued another dramatic announcement during his news conference. Maharishi said he has withdrawn his Transcendental Meditation Movement from England following the recent re-election of Prime Minister Tony Blair. “When we are fulfilling our parental role in the family of nations by adopting a few countries and making them invincible, we are also rejecting one nation—Britain—which has proven to be a poisonous divisive influence in the world family,” Maharishi said. “The good effects of Transcendental Meditation—increased creativity and long life—should not be given to a dangerous country that is constantly busy destroying the world. Transcendental Meditation is a gift from me to those who want to create peace and harmony in the world.” The teachers of the Transcendental Meditation Movement—those who can go out—will leave England and go to other countries to live and teach.

Vedic Pandits are saving the world from destruction

In response to a press question, Maharishi explained that the power of positivity rising from India and radiating throughout the world is being produced by the Vedic Pandits in India, who are utilizing the technology of Total Natural Law—the technology of cosmic creative intelligence—which governs the universe with perfect order. “The evolutionary power of Total Natural Law is infinitely powerful—more powerful than any destructive force,” Maharishi said. “Through their practice of Yogic Flying and performance of Vedic Yagyas and Grahashanti, the Vedic Pandits are quietly enlivening Total Natural Law—the Will of God—and creating coherence in national and world consciousness. In this way, the Vedic Pandits are saving the world from destruction.”

Vedic Pandits are waking up to their responsibility due to fear of annihiliation

Maharishi noted that many Vedic Pandits in the northern provinces of India are utilizing his peace-creating technologies—and they are doing so out of fear of annihilation. “These Vedic Pandits have suddenly realized that Pakistan has enough nuclear weapons to destroy everyone in the northern border provinces overnight,” Maharishi said. “So now, suddenly, they are waking up to their responsibility to use this Vedic technology—this ‘magic wand’—to quietly create coherent collective consciousness from within their own homes.”

Maharishi said the coherent influence radiating from northern India is starting to create coherence in the collective consciousness of Pakistan—and to transform the quality of consciousness of the administrators of the nation. “In this way, the administrators in Pakistan will never be able to even think of using their arsenals to destroy India,” Maharishi said.

Maharishi concluded by emphasizing that his program does more than merely extend the hope of peace—it is producing the effect of peace.  “It doesn’t matter how intense the darkness has been in the past because now we can easily put on the light,” Maharishi said. “So it won’t be long before the world press will be able to report good news coming from everywhere on earth—and to ring the bell of eureka for a new civilization of peace, prosperity, happiness, and invincibility dawning in every nation.”

(May 26, 2005) His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi this week offered to heads of state the Vedic knowledge of Total Natural Law—with its peace-creating technologies of Yogic Flying and Yagyas—to rescue their governments from conflict and failure and save the world from destruction.

However, Maharishi emphasized that he is not waiting for government leaders to respond. Maharishi said his Peace Governments in every nation are utilizing these Vedic technologies to create coherent collective consciousness—the basis of balanced administration and invincibility for every nation.

Maharishi delivered his message to heads of state during his May 18 global news conference, which was broadcast live to the press on all continents via satellite and Internet webcast from the Capital of the Global Country of World Peace in Meru, Holland.

The U.S. government is inciting war in the guise of promoting peace

During the news conference, Maharishi had strong words of condemnation for the U.S. government, which is selling hundreds of billions of dollars of destructive weapons to countries throughout the world, including to India and Pakistan, in the guise of promoting protection and peace. In reality, Maharishi said, the U.S. government is acting with cunning and treachery—selling the weapons to make money while inciting conflict and wars that are far more destructive than any terrorist attack.

Maharishi also denounced the Indian government, which, Maharishi said, is devoid of Vedic knowledge and has become a slave to foreign powers. “India is the land of Vedic wisdom, with the technology to awaken within individual and collective consciousness the cosmic intelligence which administers the universe with perfect order. But India has abandoned its own all-powerful knowledge. As a result, the country has become lifeless. The only way for India to breathe life in freedom tomorrow is to utilize Vedic wisdom today,” said Maharishi, who then added: “Only a Vedic India can create a Vedic world—without problems, sickness, and suffering.”

Lack of balance creates stress and strain, sickness and suffering

In response to a press question, Maharishi explained why every government is gripped by problems: “Life is holistic in nature—both silent and dynamic,” Maharishi said. “But society has been overwhelmed by dynamism because the people have not known how to awaken within their own self-referral consciousness the Unified Field—the field of infinite silence. This lack of balance creates stress and strain, sickness and suffering for the individual and nation.”

Peace Governments are creating balance in the administration of every nation

Maharishi said that Peace Governments are emerging in every country to promote balanced, problem-free national administration through a twofold approach: (1) offering to every government the Vedic technologies to enliven silence in individual and national consciousness; and (2) producing the effect themselves, without waiting for governments to respond.

To create the effect, Maharishi announced seven weeks ago that large numbers of Vedic Pandits have been established in India to perform Vedic Yagyas and Grahashanti to create coherence in the collective consciousness of the nation and the world. Since then, world press reports have clearly documented the success of these first stages of Maharishi’s global peace program, including increased harmony between formerly hostile nations, such as India and Pakistan, and China and Taiwan, and a general trend towards rising positivity in different parts of the globe (please see www.globalgoodnews.com).

“We have started to create groups of Vedic Pandits in India, and we are encouraged to see the trends moving in the right direction,” Maharishi said. “Soon we will create larger numbers of Vedic Pandits who will produce an even more powerful influence of coherence for the whole world.”

In addition to creating this holistic influence of coherence, Maharishi announced that his Global Country of World Peace is creating the coherent effect in a few select nations as well. “The Global Country of World Peace is adopting three or four countries to raise each of them to invincibility,” Maharishi said. “For this, large groups of peace-creating Yogic Flyers are being established in these countries to create coherent national consciousness—the basis of invincibility for the nation.”

Supporting the Vedic Pandits will ensure a bright future for everyone

At the same time, Maharishi urged governments to take immediate action to raise their nations to invincibility. Maharishi invited leaders to contract with his Vedic University in Holland to establish large groups of coherence-creating Yogic Flyers in their countries and to engage large numbers of Vedic Pandits to utilize Vedic Yagyas to prevent negative influences from coming to the country.

Maharishi also urged governments—and everyone in society—to fully support the Vedic Pandits by providing them with proper homes built according to Vedic architecture and proper Vedic organic food. “Vedic Pandits are a blessing for the world,” Maharishi said. “Supporting the Vedic Pandits in a proper manner will ensure a bright future for everyone.”

Maharishi concluded by saying that with the grace of his master Guru Dev and the tradition of Vedic masters, the power of silence and dynamism will be balanced in world consciousness and the family of nations will enjoy permanent peace on earth. “Then the voice of peace will dominate in society, and the voice of destruction will disappear—just as with the onset of light, darkness disappears,” Maharishi said. “And for this, it is our joy to light more and more lamps in the world.”
